"Cub scouts camped here Columbus day weekend. My son loved the trail leading down the beaver made lake. The campground has bathrooms and platforms for tents. A four person tent is the max you fit on the platform."

"Moderate hiking place. The white trail leads to couple ponds and a huge reservoir. The reservoir is gorgeous and you can do fishing or kayaking. Best seasons - spring and fall"

"I came here today for the first time and thought Google Maps had misdirected me (wouldn't be the first time). I drove through a residential area that turned into a dirt road ending at Winnebago Rd. There was a parking area for hikers but no trail map nor even a trail head marker. I followed the yellow trail for about half an hour until it abruptly ended on the bank of the lake. The white trail connected at the yellow's terminus and I followed that around the lake. The coolest part of the hike was seeing a beaver dam. There's also a road around most of the lake that seems to be used by dirtbikes or quads that allows you to get up against the water. But all in all, it was a mediocre hike with a relatively flat trail that seems to be minimally up kept."
